Which One, Which One

I've reached the point where I need to make a decision time. Sooner than I expected. The Green Shawl has reached the it-takes-forever-to-knit-a-row-while-at-the-same-time eating-yarn-like cup-cakes stage. That ball of yarn is only 2 or 3 inches across. I'm betting it's only got a couple more rows left in it.

I'm pretty sure I need to know what color to make the border.

And whether to add an inner border in black.

My preference is the lighter green. If you use the orangy-brown, then I would consider a black inner border.

I just finished a shawl that I thought I was going to run out of the main color as the shawl grew. Those long rows really eat up the yarn! I tweaked some of the stripes to save as much as I could. Ended up, the short rows at the top used far much less than imagined & had 1/2 skein left over. Learned THAT lesson!

Can I change my mind? The more I look at this, the more I think I like the idea of a narrow black border w the orangy-brown.

Final answer!

Hmm... And here I'd almost settled on the green, but with the black inner border.

Let me look at this some more. Maybe I can be swayed back to the green w a black border...even though I gave my final answer. I am nothing, if not wishywashy!!
